A very popular option is to take a transfer to Sheffield, spend the night in this quirky town with it's murals, shops, cafes, pub, restaurant and supermarket. We meet your flight or pick up from your hotel. The next morning departing from Sheffield at 0730 reaching the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre for the first briefing. If you want us to meet you at Lake St Clair when you complete the Overland Track we will store any bags for free.

A self contained fully private suite with it's own private entrance, separate sitting area, comfortable Queen bed, large bathroom and self serve continental breakfast. Very centrally located and excellent value at $100/night.
The Station House HIGHEST RATED ACCOMMODATION IN SHEFFIELD
Very comfortable apartments each with a Queen bed, kitchenette and self serve continental breakfast 4 minutes walk from the centre of Sheffield. $130/night (a trundle bed can be added for $30)
If this accommodation does not suit or fully booked you are free to book any other accommodation in Sheffield. There is plenty to suit all budgets and group sizes.
This deal makes it excellent value if for example you arrive into Launceston airport around 4pm. We meet you and then a one hour drive to Sheffield.
Check in to your accommodation, pop out to the IGA for any last minute shopping and your gas. Do not worry if they run out as we also stock gas.
Walk around the world famous murals, have a drink at the Sheffield Hotel and dinner there or one of the other restaurants in Sheffield. Much cheaper than you will find if you stayed at Cradle Mountain.
Sleep well, have breakfast in your accommodation or at the bakery. Then depart to Cradle Mountain at 7.30 for the shortish drive to Cradle Mountain making you the first group to check in and be briefed.
Leave your bags with us for safe storage and we then meet you at Lake St Clair at a time that suits you and drop you back at Launceston Airport.
